Privacy notice
Last updated 24 June 2026
This notice explains what information allyte.com collects when you visit the site or contact us, and the choices you have. allyte.com is the marketing website for Allyte, LLC (“Allyte”, “we”, “us”). It is separate from FinOpsHubs.com, our hosted analytics service, which has its own privacy notice.
What this notice covers
This notice applies to the allyte.com website and the contact form on it. It does not cover FinOpsHubs.com (our separate analytics service, governed by its own privacy notice), your Microsoft Azure environment, or any Microsoft service you reach through us.
Information we collect
Product telemetry. We collect telemetry through Microsoft Azure Application Insights — which pages you open (including the page address and the site that referred you), how far you scroll, which call-to-action you select, and performance timings — so we can understand how the site is used and improve it. Analytics is cookieless, and Microsoft masks your IP address after a coarse location lookup, so it is not retained in identifiable form.
Contact form. When you submit the contact form, the name, company, email, interest, and message you enter are sent to Microsoft Azure Application Insights so that we can follow up — so that information does identify you. We use it only to respond to your enquiry.
What we do not collect
- advertising or cross-site tracking cookies;
- your Microsoft credentials or access tokens;
- any data from your Azure environment or your Microsoft FinOps hubs deployment.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not set cookies. Our analytics runs in cookieless mode, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use information
We use the information above to operate and secure the site, to diagnose and fix problems, to understand how the site is used so we can improve it, and to respond when you contact us. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Legal basis
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: providing the site and responding to enquiries you have asked us to handle; our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and improving it; and your consent where the law requires it. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest at any time using the contact below.
Sub-processors
Microsoft Azure is the only infrastructure sub-processor we use to run allyte.com and its analytics. Telemetry and contact-form submissions are processed by Microsoft on our behalf under the Microsoft Products and Services Data Protection Addendum.
When we share information
- with Microsoft, to operate the site as described above;
- when required by law or to respond to valid legal process;
- to protect the security, rights, or safety of the site, our users, or others;
- as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required.
Security
All traffic uses HTTPS, and the site runs on Microsoft Azure using Microsoft’s platform controls.
How long we keep it
Site telemetry is retained in Application Insights for about 90 days and then deleted. A contact-form submission passes through that telemetry and is deleted with it, and is also copied to a separate store that keeps it for up to two years and then deletes it. Each submission is emailed to the people who handle enquiries so they can reply, and those copies are deleted within the same two years.
International transfers
Telemetry and information you provide may be processed in any region where Microsoft Azure operates. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, your information may be transferred to a country whose data-protection rules differ from your own. Microsoft applies the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for EEA and UK transfers and relies on the Swiss adequacy list for transfers from Switzerland, as described in Microsoft’s Data Protection Addendum (referenced under Sub-processors).
Children
allyte.com is not directed to, or intended for, children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@allyte.com and we will respond within one month.
Changes to this notice
We will update the date shown at the top of this page whenever this notice changes.
