About Allyte
FinOps, built around your business
We believe FinOps should be an integral part of how organizations operate, not just how they track spending. By connecting people, processes, and technology, FinOps can drive operational efficiency and maximize the value of every technology investment. The best systems go beyond insights to understand organizational goals and actively work toward achieving them, delivering measurable business outcomes.
Today, organizations are forced to adapt to their tools. They piece together products, processes, and custom solutions to bridge the gaps between information and outcomes. We believe that’s backward. Software should adapt to an organization’s people, processes, and goals, not force the organization to work around its limitations.
That’s why we started Allyte. We envision a future where FinOps, tokenomics, and technology governance in general are woven into how organizations operate, continuously improving efficiency and driving business outcomes naturally. We see this powered by open, scalable, and extensible platforms that connect people and automate processes, exploiting the power of AI where it makes sense to enable people to achieve more.
We’re starting with FinOpsHubs.com, built on the Microsoft FinOps toolkit and the FinOps Open Cost and Usage Specification (FOCUS), alongside expert services that help organizations bridge the gaps today.
We aim to be an ally in making technology work for people, building toward a future where operations are intelligent, adaptable, and ultimately invisible.

Our approach
Principles in practice
-
Outcomes over outputs
Technology should deliver results, not more work. We turn insights into action and eliminate unnecessary complexity.
-
Built around you
People, processes, and goals shape our approach. We adapt to each organization's needs, not the other way around.
-
Open by design
No platform solves everything. We embrace standards and extensibility so organizations can build on what exists without limits.
Our founders
United by a conviction
Michael and Roland met through the FinOps community, combining expertise in product development and hands-on implementation. They founded Allyte on a shared conviction: Organizations shouldn’t have to work around technology’s limitations. Technology should adapt to their people, processes, and ambitions.

Michael Flanakin
Co-founder
Michael led Microsoft’s FinOps initiatives and founded the Microsoft FinOps toolkit, where he continues to serve on the governing board. He is a maintainer of the FinOps Open Cost and Usage Specification (FOCUS) and a Microsoft MVP. His product and engineering leadership across nonprofit, government, and technology organizations shaped how he builds: Connect individual needs into a coherent product that helps people work more effectively, without requiring everyone to be an expert.

Roland Krummenacher
Co-founder
Roland has spent more than a decade helping organizations design, build, and operate cloud solutions on Azure, and has guided teams around the globe through their FinOps journeys. He maintains the Microsoft FinOps toolkit and serves on its governing board. His background spans software development, Azure architecture, and data analytics, and he connects engineering, finance, and business decisions in one practice. At Allyte, he is the practitioner’s voice: He knows how teams actually work and turns FinOps capabilities into results.
Allyte is headquartered in the Seattle area, with founders based in the United States and Switzerland.
